EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:
PRE-EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

• Pre-Employment Services are available to ministry clients receiving disability assistance who are interested in improving their employability.
  
  
• Pre-Employment Services are specifically designed for those clients who, in addition to their disability, have other significant barriers to employment.
  
• These services reflect the understanding that some people with disabilities need a supportive environment to build their confidence and motivation to become engaged in
  employment-related activities, including volunteer opportunities.
  
  
• There are several organizations from across the provinces that provide Pre-Employment Services. They are:
  • BC Society of Training for Health & Employment Opportunities - People with Disabilities
  • Dawson Creek Catholic Social Services
  • Kootenay Employment Services
  • OrionHealth Care Inc.
  • Steele O'Neil & Associates Inc.
  • Sustained Employment Network Inc.
  • Vancouver Coastal Health Authority
  • Vancouver Island Vocational Rehabilitation Services
  • WCG International Consultants Ltd.
