Section 2.8 of the VCRP policy states the following: "As soon as possible and within a reasonable timeframe (to be specified by each ministry/PSS) of determining the facts, the ministry/PSS will prepare a report on its review of the complaint and prepare a response to the complainant. The response will contain the report, the outcomes and the rationale for them, as well as the procedure to follow if the complainant wishes to pursue the matter further." The Procurement Contact will provide the complainant with this report within 30 days of receiving the complaint. If unable to respond within the recommended timeframe (due to circumstances including FOI requests), the Procurement Contact will advise the complainant of the reason for the delay and the expected response date. |
